There were 20 signed contracts on residential properties in Rochester, Minnesota last week (February 4 to 10, 2011), the same number as last year at this tme. These homes had an average list price of $164,423 and an average market time of 133 days. There were twice as many closings last week as a year ago, with the 15 homes that closed having an average sold price of $194,593 — 95% of the list price, 80% of the original asking price. There were 49 new listings last week, down nearly 20% from a year ago, with an average asking price of $243,947.
There are currently 844 residential properties for sale in Rochester, Minnesota with an average list price of $209,198 and an average of 205 days on the market.
